Our work for the Connecting Nature Enterprise Summit
Nature-based enterprises are key for the successful large-scale implementation of NBS as well as an engine for sustainable economic and jobs growth. The Connecting Nature Enterprise Summit hosted by Poznan City Hall was held virtually to an audience in excess of 800 participants from around the globe. During the Summit we explored the challenges and opportunities facing nature-based enterprises; cities, communities, policy makers and developers. Speakers included experts from the European Commission and the World Economic Forum, with contributions from policy makers, cities, researchers and of course nature-based enterprises. Horizon Nua coordinated the event with Poznan City Hall as part of the Connecting Nature Summit Series.
The Connecting Nature Roadshow
One of the final events of our 5 year project Connecting Nature was the Connecting Nature Roadshow which toured 5 European cities showcasing a few of our innovations. Touring with the Roadshow were project partners, Helix Pflanzen and their mobile green living room, Em|Path a new spin out who have created a new arts based community engagement process and ourselves in Horizon Nua with the Connecting Nature Enterprise Platform. We toured Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France and Belgium, delivering a series of workshops, arts based activities and informal one to ones with city makers, students, entrepreneurs and children along the way…
